Abstract
The Current Research Aims to Measure the Effectiveness of a Training Program
Based on The Montessori Method in Improving Reading Skills for Students with
Learning Disabilities in Early Childhood. The study sample consisted of (12)
students, they were chosen intentionally, Their ages ranged from 7-9 years old,
divided evenly over the two study groups, To achieve the objectives of the study, the
quasi-experiment (The semi-experimental curriculum )approach was used , The
study tools included the testing of John Raven's successive matrices, Reading skills
testing,A training program for reading skills, The results of the study showed
statistically significant differences in the average score of the experimental and
control groups, on the dimensional attainment test, in terms of character recognition,
reading of words and sentences, improving reading, and differences in favor of the
experimental group, there were statistically significant differences in the average
degree of students of the experimental group,
On the dimensional attainment test., in terms of improving reading skills, attributed to
the gender variable, the absence of statistically significant differences in the average
degree of experimental group students, on the distance attainment test, in terms of
improving reading skills, attributed to a variable The study phase, as recommended
by the study: preparing an educational bag for each stage of the study containing the
tools and activities of a Montessori that serves basic reading skills and an
explanatory guide for its use, adopting a method of teaching students in early
childhood, preparing workshops to include the initial course syllabus for The Activities
of The Montessori, providing a curricular environment For early childhood students.
