Abstract: Augmented Reality which known as (AR) represents one of the most important new technologies that the users like, because of the ability to the augmentation of the actual reality through adding new features that makes it more and more interactive, fun, and useful. So that you can add interactive contents such as video or interactive image to a printed book. So, the reader can use his/her phone to listen to the introduction of the magazine as a video, also the student can see interactive images for the pictures and maps and explanations that the book present, which absolutely add unlimited fun and benefits. One of the studies indicates that most of boring times that students spends in their lives exists in some of their school classes which its content and the way of teaching the subject bring the boring for the students which leads to some students' tendency to create problems in his class, so they turn to sleep as a way to escape from boring that they feel. This study aims to improve the application of augmented reality and make the leaning much more easy and funny for the children, and the XP methodology has been implemented in the project life cycle, where an experiment was conducted on a number of students in Al-Zahra Private School for the third grade’s Islamic subject, and the experiment has been evaluated upon them, where the results was highly positive. The requirements were elicited using the data of the similar projects. The Graphical User Interface (GUI) was designed using unity program. The AR-LPS application was tested and evaluated by different evaluators and according to the questionnaires it was accepted by 73% percent. Finally, the AP-LPS application is the first version and in the future it will be evolved and new features can be added.
