Abstract: The aim of the study was to define the role of The Islamic university in the Gaza governorates in promoting social values to their students and ways to improve them. To achieve the objective of the study, the researchers used the analytical descriptive approach, as well as the interview. The questionnaire was also designed as a tool for collecting information, consisting of (29) Study and applied to a sample of (149) students The study reached the following results: - The overall degree of the role of Palestinian universities in promoting the social values of their students was, with a relative weight (76.48%). - There are statistically significant differences between the average scores of the sample of the study sample for the role of the Palestinian universities in enhancing the social values of their female students due to the variable of academic specialization in favor of students of scientific specialization, as well as the level of study for the students of the third level and higher, while there are no statistically significant differences due to the variable Cumulative. The researchers recommended the following: - To guide students towards the customs and traditions of society through activities and lectures. - Show the importance of positive friendship in the social and university life of female students. - Making proposals to activate the role of Palestinian universities in promoting the social values of their students.
