Abstract
يحاول هذا البحث تسليط الضوء على طائفة برزت في المجتمع في العصر المملوكي ، وهي طائفة الحرافيش -كما جرت تسميتهم آنذاك-، هذه الطائفة التي أصبحت ذات تنظيم اجتماعي متمرد على الدين والأخلاق، يعيد للأذهان تنظيم الشطار والعيارين في العصر العباسي الذهبي، حاولنا في هذا البحث تتبع بدايات ظهور التنظيمات الشعبية التي سبقت ظهور الحرافيش ، كالشطار والعيارين في العراق ، والأحداث في بلاد الشام ، أما طائفة الحرافيش فتم التطرق إلى تعريفهم لغة واصطلاحا ، وصفاتهم ، وعلاقتهم بالسلطة المملوكية الحاكمة ، التي اتسمت بالودية أحياناً ، من خلال وقوف الحرافيش في وجه الغزو الفرنجي والمغولي لبلاد الشام ، وعلاقاتهم العدائية بهذه السلطة في أغلب الأحيان ، بسبب أعمال السلب والنهب والتخريب التي قاموا بها في مدن وقرى بلاد الشام ، كما عالجت الدراسة أوضاع طائفة الحرافيش الاقتصادية والاجتماعية في أواخر العصر المملوكي.
This research attempts to shed light on a class that emerged in society during the Mamluk era, and it is the Harafish class - as they were called at the time -, this class that has become a social organization rebellious against religion and morals, bringing to mind the organization of cleverness and caliber in the golden Abbasid era, we tried in this beginning The research traces the beginnings of the emergence of the popular organizations that preceded the emergence of the Harafish, such as Al-Shattar and Al-Ayarin in Iraq, and the events in the Levant، The Harafish sect was discussed linguistically and idiomatically, their characteristics, and their relationship with the ruling Mamluk authority, which was characterized by friendship at times, through the Harafish standing in the face of the Frankish and Mongol invasion of the Levant, and their hostile relations with this authority most of the time, due to the acts of looting and sabotage that they carried out in Cities and villages of the Levant. The study also dealt with the economic and social conditions of the Harafish sect in the late Mamluk era
